Montage is a celebration of the art of film and creative storytelling, sharing the outstanding work of student filmmakers from Western Canada's largest school district. Founded in 2007 by Kashif Pasta and ShyamValera, Montage is the ultimate outlet for amateur filmmakers to show their talents and film making skills as their creations are screened in front of an audience of their own community, peers, expert judges and seasoned veterans of the BC film industry.
Not only are great short films played, Montage will also be an evening to come together and discuss with fellow filmmakers, hear words of advice from professionals in the business, and work with other talented creators. And if you're not into that jazz, just sit back, grab a bucket of popcorn and enjoy the great homegrown entertainment.
If you're ready to join in on the experience, please register your films here by May 2nd or attend Montage on May 12th 2011 at Tamanawis Secondary (details below).
